Homology Prompt 1
Homology Prompt:  Follow this prompt
for each of the readings in class.

Life has changed over time.
 The
Geologic Time Calendar project revealed
that life has gone through major changes
over the Earth's history.  These changes
are recorded in fossils:  The Fossil
Record.  The fact that life has changed is
the first major evidence for evolution.

Living things share a common
ancestor.
 There is considerable evidence
that all living things share a common
ancestor.  Homologies are one of the best
ways for us to see this today:  You and a
frog and a fruit bat all have the same arm
and leg bones and you inherited them from
a common ancestor.
